In a poor Roma community on the outskirts of Sarajevo, Bosnia, shoeboxes are speaking words of love and hope into the lives of hundreds of children this Christmas.

Our partners in Bosnia explain the amazing difference these shoeboxes are making in the lives of the children:
“About 70% of the children we give shoeboxes to don’t go to school. But arriving with shoeboxes packed full of gifts, we are able to convey a message of God’s love and acceptance into a community that experiences rejection. The smiles and warm greetings from the Roma people as they voice their thankfulness shows us how powerful these simple gifts really are.”
