Knitting Patterns

We know that knitting is a very popular pastime amongst our supporters.

Unfortunately, we cannot export hand knitted stuffed toys, but here are some of the items that are suitable for shoeboxes. If you enjoy knitting, why not have a go? They are all tried and trusted patterns made many times by our volunteers teams across the UK.

The clowns were so popular last winter and playing with a glove puppet has been found to be very therapeutic for a child suffering from trauma or isolation – the puppet becomes a little friend to talk to.

If you have a knitting pattern that you would like to share with others email it to info@samaritans-purse.org.uk as a pdf with a digital photo if possible.

Why not join our  Facebook fan page and let us know what you've been putting in your shoebox.
